Ten-year NFL veteran and New Orleans Saints Hall of Famer, Joel Hilgenberg will return to LWFA for the 2nd year. His playing experience coupled with his intense passion for teaching make Joel an excellent instructor. Hilgenberg is entering his 1st full season as an Offensive Assistant with the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers after spending the 2010 offseason as a Packer Intern Coach. Prior to his arrival in Green Bay, Joel volunteered his time and expertise with the Iowa Hawkeyes, where he worked with the Offensive Line and Long Snappers. As an NFL player, Joel played all 10 of his seasons with he New Orleans Saints, and was selected to the Pro Bowl and the Saints’ Hall of Fame. Hilgenberg was a four-year Letterman Center for the Iowa Hawkeyes and he earned All-American honors as a senior, and was a two-time All-Big Ten selection before being inducted into the University of Iowa Hall of Fame.
